Could you post a traceroute to here, in the traceroute thread?

I was doing some reasearch and looks like other people have had routing issues with theplanet. There was even one incident where they plugged in 40 servers in the same power strip and tripped a breaker. So umm, time to look into a different host. But most cost way more, and I want to try and stay under 200 per month.

Last time i tried a traceroute it gave me a ms-dos error thingy.

Like i said i suck at knowing the technical stuff with computers. I only know how to

-Install a game

-Play the game

-Own everyone in the game

-uninstall old game for a new game

lol...

But truly, i seriously dont know too much about computers. Mainly the basics.

Start, go to Accessories. There shoudl be an option called Command Prompt, open it.

Type in "cmd in run", press enter.
Type in "tracert (whatever the server's name is)"

Just copy and paste that.

lol cmd in run?

Just cmd will do :P

Then tracert uosrv.uovalor.com

Make sure you don't do tracert uovalor.com or www.uovalor.com since that's a different server.

Also I'm guessing you checked all this before but if not:

- Update client
- Uncheck "smart cpu reduction" in razor

No.

And if your playing on the same RP server that I think you are, it makes me laugh. Warriorman is just as bad at it as the shard is horrible.

Are you kidding me? Who are you to talk shit.

The shard is great, and warriorman rocks at roleplaying.

Makes you lag more. It's supposed to make things run better but the processes behind it tend to eat away at your resources. Mind you I haven't tried that option since forever and they might have improved it after several updates.

Yeah make sure it's off. I doubt thats the cause of everyone's lag though (I wish it was that easy :/) since it would make you lag all the time, not just randomly.
