Haha. You get kicked in the nuts. Especially since you were crying over something that didn't really affect you.

Just because it doesn't really affect my archer, mage or tamer doesn't mean it doesn't affect me. I like playing my sammy soo much more than any of them and it now means that I can't hunt anything that I used to.
I didn't hunt for loot, seeing as though the gaunt mobs typically drop better items and the difference in arties is profound. ML arties suck vs Doom arties.
I actually want to get into the fact that whenever you make the server harder, you actually are targetting the new players. Not the vets.
Take a look at the Demitel arties. All of the vets have them mostly and most of the newer players don't. I am not saying it is a bad thing I am just saying that whenever changes happen they either help or hinder. One needs to notice what groups they actually hinder and what groups are actually getting helped.
Very similar to the server D***** and ltots no longer spawning. It is a blatant nod to the vets that were playing big D at that time and a big F-off to the newer players. They tippie-toe around it but the fact remains that most of the vets on big D are LOADED with ltots and the new players have to shell out 200+k-2mill for one. Anytime something is made harder it helps the vets and hinders the newbies.
I dunno if that makes sense or not but I tried my best. Im just afraid for people who are even less off than I. I have basically a maxxed out suit and I can't hang with anything unless I go gimp with Disco etc.

On any shard, the last place a newbie would want to go to is a ML dungeon. Theres plenty of other places to fight and get loot to build up. Theres also the crafting which can help get a half decent startup suit without worrying about insuring too much stuff.
To compensate for harder mobs insurance is also cheaper, and theres lot of healers. I add more if I find a spot that lacks them.

I agree with indigo in a few of those areas such as UOML stuff being harder to obtain and demitel artifacts being harder to get as well for new players.
In that sense, several areas of tokuno were spawned with lower end creatures and packed with a lot more so new players can get a chance at their ltots and gtots while building skill.
Also, the crafting system bumps and nudges makes it so not everyone has to rely on artifacts rather they will make their own weapons and armor to be able to compete. It may be harder to get UOML and demitel artifacts and items, that's intentional. Unlike demise though, we have numerous other methods for young players to gear up before facing more difficult challenges.

Yeah the custom stuff is meant to be hard to get as we don't want to take away from the OSI items such as tots, minor artys, ml artyes etc. Unfortunatly it was way easier then we wanted at first so thats how the market got flooded with those items.
