Don't run, either. Because he'll just be pissed about it (from what I've read) and won't let you talk even then. Plus, the time it'd take to run away several times would ruin any chances of a career.
I'm not exactly too concerned for getting a career, I just want to live life instead of being a drone. But let's face it, you need money to enjoy some of the pleasures in life. Like skydiving. :]
