Yes, and Lister's posts thus far have been dripping with maturity. Plenty of good advice has been given here. However, as a typical young'n blinded by the insanity of adolescent 'love', he'll refuse to accept anything but the most sympathetic and like-minded advice.

Secondly, you're deifying a girl you don't really even know.  I guarantee you that upon getting to know her, at some point, you'd come down to reality and she won't have the same effect.  How can you say she is 'The One' when you don't even know her?  That's pretty creepy.  In fact, your use of the word 'love' here cheapens the word since 'infatuation' or 'obsession' describe your situation better - neither of which necessarily have anything to do with love, especially in your case.

I do "know her", I've been in the same school and class for three years, wouldn't you say thats "knowing" somebody....an I know that "love" was kind of a strong word to use right away....but yea I do know her, and I have talked to her, I just havnt told her anything.....i knever said I didnt know her, I said I've only "really" talked to her a few times, such as conversations and such...but I've talked to her many times........and lastley, this is the anything goes section of forums, so why the hell not post somthing like that???
No, that is not 'knowing' somebody. Unless you have socialized with them, and seen them in a variety of situations both in and outside of the classroom, you can't possibly know her well enough to say she's 'the one' or that you 'love' her.

Poor kid, dreaming up persecution. I never said you weren't supposed to post this sort of thing in the Anything Goes forum. I said it was an odd way to start out in a forum, meaning your very first post is very personal, which is unusual.

Do you have trouble making friends, especially with girls? Do you consider yourself to be a 'nice guy' who's quite possibly doomed to 'finish last'? Do you believe in love at first sight? Have you ever had a girlfriend?

For the last 2 weeks I've been to scared to ask this awesome sweet gal out... but get ur guts together and just do it.

I have socialized with her, and no I do not have trouble making friends, I have over 25 or 30, and know them all, I do talk to them, I have socialized with her, You just dont seem to get the picture....I talk to her about every day now. I do believe in love at first sight, and yes I've had a girlfriend.

Look, I could almost guarantee you that it won't work. You're too caught up into this thing and simply don't seem able to step back and think clearly. If you have only 'really' conversed with her a few times, you don't know her, plain and simple. Furthermore, the claim that she's 'the one' is over the top and shows a great deal of myopia. Believe it or not, very, very few girls like obsessive guys, which is what you seem to be, based on what you've said in here.

And Lister, wize wasn't the first person to give the kind of advice he gave. You don't seem to have been reading many of the responses. And the fact that you'll only accept advice that is non-critical does nothing to show that you have anything better than just a vague concept of what 'love' is, and what it takes to find 'the one'.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility that she couldn't be "The one", but i would suggest against having such strong feelings for someone you don't even know. I've been infatuated with a girl for a long time now, but i certainly don't consider her to be the missing part of my soul... Just a girl, who i like.

My advice is simple, tone it down, and talk to her, if you connect then hooray! And if not, oh well, nothing gained, nothing lost.

The worst possible situation is the one you're in right now; not doing jack sh*t about it.
OMG........... That sounded so grown up. ......I'm so proud of you..... You've come a long way...........
Come here.......*pinches cheeks........(on the face)*
 I only act immature sometimes. Thanks for the compliment 0... Never thought i'd say that, ever..
