there is absolutly no way to know how everything got started. no way at all, if they knew, they would know what caused the "Big Bang", if of course it even happened. And what about the concept of what was here before the "big bang" or whatever caused it, did anybody ever think about that? was it sheer nothingness?, what would that look like? would it be black or white, dark or not? who knows?.....

there are two main theories about the world, creationism and elolution
if creationism is true(which i believe) then there is a witness to the beginning--God. if evolution... then no-one, nothing

Wow that's the simplest way I've ever seen it explained, could not have said it better myself, and my attempt would be a book of a post. :P

What did it explain? All I saw was a very basic bi-polar breakdown, nevermind the fact that it didn't even take into consideration that some Christians believe in evolution as a process guided by God.

this is true.. i made a basic assumption.
[generalization]most Christians believe in the Bible.[/generalization]
last time i read Genesis it showed the creation process as taking 6 days.
all i was trying to say in that post was that with the evolution process, there is neither pro or con evidence (i wouldn't consider lack of evidence as con evidence.) and there is no evidence or explaination the beginnings of evolution. for Christianity, i believe that there is a God and he was here before creation(or else how could he really create everything). but i doubt i could prove that to your satisfaction.. i need to think abouit it before i would say i could logically prove it to myself.. but i believe it in faith

What reason do you have to believe it, even in faith?
