you people from canada make it sound like high school is really easy there....i guess it can be here if you take dummy classes, but that'll backfire in college so i'm taking harder ones now.
Started already? Wow must suck to start that early.

Actually here it can get hard, depends what courses you take. If you take them applied (for college) it's super easy but if you take them advanced (for college or univesity) it can get hard. The hardest is math really so if you're very good at the complicated type of math, high school is easy.

Elementary school in the States is Kindergarten through 6th grade, but sometimes 6th is put with 7th and 8th for Middle School.

Oh ok. Here it's 1-6 primary (I think... not sure if there even is a specific term) then 7-8 is elementary, usually in a different school, then 9-12 high school then "post secondary" university/college or workforce, or bum, for some people

We used to have a grade 13 for high school but they changed the whole curriculum and packed it all in 4 years.
The States:Most towns:Kindergarden and 1-5-Elementry 6-9-Middle or Jr High 10-12-High My town:K1-4-Elementry 5-6-Intermeadate 7-8-Middle or Jr High 9-12-High.

red i think you made a typo there or something but i'm pretty sure i'm taking what would be your advanced classes there, i might actually try really hard to get the 4.0 this year, i'm sure i could but with all my other activities it's hard, and the dyslexia in math is bad :S

Well most people take advanced here. Here Applied is mostly for people with trouble, or lazy people. One of my friends in my math class was having trouble (like the rest of us) and decided to transfer to applied, and it was like super easy, he was poping 90's like nothing. And he was not a super smart guy or anything, same level as most people in my class. But with applied you could still get in college, but even if you're going to college taking advanced was better since there's a better chance of getting accepted, and if you decide to go to university the door is open.

class inflation is a problem in larger schools around here, our normal chemistry and physics classes (in my small town) are the same as the honors chemistry and physics classes in schools that are in cities. same with harder maths too....

Yeah that sucks when classes get big. I liked my school because it was small. In grade 12, our english and math class had 3 people. Yes, 3 people. It was overwelming for me though, it was two of the smartest girls in the whole school, so I was always like 20% below the class average. But they were hot, so that made up for everything. :D

That math video converance class was rather fun though. We'd play solitaire on the smartboard and stuff. I had programmed the remote to make the camera go at weird locations at the hit of a button. One programmed location was the clock, so when the teacher went overtime, I'd hit that button. :D

Wow some schools here are starting like the next tuesday coming up. Glad I don't go to those schools. The first few weeks of college are always so easy. I like how college you're all setup within the first day then you just go home, pretty much. Not like high school where you need a red binder, a blue binder, a dark yellow binder, etc..... nah, that was elementary. high school was not so bad for that.
