You're playing X-2 o.O

I played that for 2 hours then turned it off in disgust.

FF7 is the biggy though, they got the characters, storyline, and gameplay JUST right, something they haven't been able to recreate since.

I know, but I call him a vampire anyways. ...I guess I should've said that for peoples who didn't know.

Since I'm a big fan of the series, I decided to play FFX-2 until the end, but I didn't get the secret ending. (You need the secret ending, or you're gonna DIE...) I like how they are making sequels, though. It's just cooler like that.

And, I'll assume when you said FFVI You meant the American version FF III? (Either that, or I read the Roman Numeral wrong)

I'd have to admit, that one is the best FF ever. But, just to stay strictly on things. I think the best 3-D FF game is FFIX (That's just my opinion) and Best 2-D is FF III (or VI).

I'm always torn about which is better, FFIX or FFVII.

FFVII wins story-wise, but FFIX had so much style and personality. They're two of my favourite games of all time. I have phases where i prefer one or the other.

I like FFIX better because it has a more.. realistic feel to it as well as a fantasy one.

Realistic Feel?!?!?

Their heads are bigger than their bodies, and there's one guy(girl??) with a six foot long tongue, and crosses for eyes. Not to mention one guy gets turned into a frog....

Sure, very realistic... lol.

lol

UO is more realistic. Well if you don't count magery, spirit speak, healing, (names about 50% of the skills)

My favorite FF was VII like almost everyone else out there. I don't think they'll ever top that one.

Second for me was VIII, believe it or not. I liked the realistic characters (I guess this is the one that Shinizo is talking about) and the story was great. The only thing I really didn't like too much about it was the draw system. Spending literally hours of time just drawing all the various spells from creatures for all your characters got real old real fast.

Eventually I ended up just not using magic, only GF's and melee.

I played IX (the last one I've played), but didn't like it very much at all...I thought the story and gameplay was weak. I played about 30 minutes of X before I gave it up. The voice acting was absolutely horrid and the dialogue was like something out of a kindergarten reading book.

Shinizo wrote: Does anyone like the Final Fantasy series? I sure do, Final Fantasy is a fun RPG (Role-Playing Game) mixed with magical attributes, and melee attacks. The recently released Final Fantasy XI in the U.S. about 2 years ago, it's an online MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) and you can interract with other people, start parties to kill monsters, gain levels. Do missions to raise your rank among the cities, and do quests within the town to raise your fame, in order to do more quests later on to help you in the jobs you have.

The kind of jobs you can be are: White Mage (Healer) Black Mage (Magical Attacks) Red Mage (A mix between White Mage, Black Mage, and a little bit of melee) Warrior (A tank for parties early on in the game) Monk (Uses his fists to fight) Thief (Good for finding spoils off of monsters)

Advanced Jobs: Summoner (Summons certain monsters to help you do battle) Dragoon (Summons a Wyvern to do battle along side) Samurai (Can also be a tank, usually a back-up tank) Beastmaster (Charms monsters to fight along side) Bard (Sings to the party to help them in battle) Paladin (A tank with the power to heal himself) Dark Knight (A warrior with the power to cast magical attacks) Ninja (Becomes a great tank after level 12)

If I forgot any others, I will add them afterwards.

Final Fantasy XI is a Pay to Play game. It's $13 dollars a month, if I remember correctly. Plus, an additional dollar for each character. It's fun. I think they still offer one month free if you buy it. Not sure about that. But, it's a great game, overall, if you like Final Fantasy.
I've played every FF since FF7. Completed them all on top level. I have an obsession.

It is different. It's..hmm, don't really wanna compare it to it's sequel, but I think it's better than Chromo Trigger. You should try it.

I'll beat it eventually. I never get around to play it since I lost one of the CDs.  -_-
The elder scrolls series would be perfect for you, i am totally addicted to Oblivion.
FFVII is the best solely because of Sephiroth
