by Thinkering...
If black holes gravitation pull is so great light can't even escape does that mean if a sun was close enough to another sun and turned into a black whole it could suck the other sun in? What do you think would happen with two black whole that were close enough to effect each other, could they suck each other into themselves? If a something going into a black hole and goes the speed of light and went into the past before the black whole was only a star then burns up maybe that’s where the sun gets these bursts of fuel that causes sun flares. Or if something got sucked into a black hole and went faster then the speed a light and went into the future to the period of when the black whole is no longer there couldn't we just look at dieing black holes for magically appearing material.
I wish we knew more about black holes they sure are fascinating.

yes there is a black hole at the center of our universe and there is evidence which supports a black hole in nearly every universe.
The evidence has been 'seen' though observations of the stars orbit - however I might add 'black holes' are only theory based on einsteins theory of general relativity, and black holes cannot be seen

Think of it like a drain. You don't really need to see the drain to know it's there. All you need to see is the water swirling around towards the bottom.
It's not the black hole you see in the picture, it's all the crap getting sucked into it.

I would like to see these 'pictures' - but I would most definatley say they are an artists rendering, much like seeing a picture of our own galaxy, (currently) simply impossible.
black holes cannot be seen, they don't allow any light to escape, however I do remember that energy can escape through the 'north and south' poles, perhpas this energy can be 'visible' however not as light

I watched a documentry on black holes. Scientist have taken pictures of the middle of galaxies, I think over 20 different pictures were taken. Each from different galaxies. And they first looked in a galaxy that was known to have a black hole in it. So then they looked at our next door neighboor, Andromida, which had a black hole in the middle of its galaxy. Then they took a picture of our galaxy and it had a inactive black hole in it.
Its said that a galaxy is created by a black hole and the black hole is the heart of a galaxy. And that in some 3 billions years, andromida will colide with our galaxy. Knocking the earth and its solar system out of orbit.
Heres the link to the documentry if anyone is interested. Its 5 parts.

Black holes are cool. Until one enters your area, then they suck (no pun intended).

So why on many pictures are black holes shown as large black spheres? Shouldn't (in our understanding of them) it not even be there, considering they are so massive and (I believe) the next step up from a pulsar (which are really really small)?
Or am I completely wrong and have no idea what I'm talking about?

I've never seen a pic of a black hole that looked like a sphere. All the ones I've seen have it looking like a black funnel. The reality is, the only way we can see them through telescopes is because of the light being bent around them and stuff being sucked through.

Actually my philosophy behind black holes is that theres so much energy concentrated into such a small area and it just keeps compressing more and more and more, eventually, this energy has to go somewhere, but has nowhere to go, so it just keeps building up even more up to the point where its more powerful then the gravity itself, then shoots out at two ends like a shot gun, releasing mass amounts of debris.
But the energy is so powerful, this happens probably faster then the speed of light hence the theories that they might actually be entrances to other dimensions. Reality is, they'll shoot you accross the galaxies at insane speeds. Of course, nobody would survive this as they'd be crushed first.
Guess one thing that could go against that is I'm sure at some point a planet or something would get hit by this debris so we'd see signs of it.

i heard that a black hole would eat each other up in the end it universe while become a black hole i wonder if anything would survive that then? lol
