Aye cap'n. I thought it was funny the
1984 quote used in "Fahrenheit 9/11", considering the context of it in the book. I only use 1984 ref's because I adore the story, but I won't bullshit about being proud to know them and feel some sense of gratification when someone understands them, but then again, I think that's the case whenever anyone makes reference to something relatively un-understood by most and sees someone else pick up on it - there's a mild sense of comradery, I guess.

Relationships scare me because I have this awful delusion that I can't possibly hold anyone's interest for very long unless I do something out of the ordinary that gains their interest. And, vain as it may sound, I fear that unless I interest them as something of a trophy boyfriend or husband, they'll be un-inclined to be loyal. Me and my defective psyche....

Dunno why people are fraidycats about death. Death is nice.

I agree. If I could choose to just die, and not have anyone saddened by it, I would do that. But, of course, reality is different.

Person to person is different though. But who knows. Maybe I don't give myself enough credit.

I don't think I'm as much afraid of DYING as I am of dying and looking back and realizing that I never really lived.
I'm sure that makes zero sense.

I'm scared of dying and realizing I missinterpreted the bible.
Oh the pain, the pain. "I know not you. Depart from me" I doubt that will happen, and for me thinking like that, I'll probably get something more like "I find your lack of faith disturbing"

It makes sense but what's the point? You will live again after you die.

well aids can be easly prevented, but cancer sure is scarry these days... I still think it has to do with pollution and all the crap we do to the planet. Cancer was never this bad, say 50 years ago.

No, we just didn't know what the cause of death was a lot of the time, and pollution levels have severly gone down since the American industrial revolution, you think we use coal a lot now, you should have seen 100 years ago!
We just called cancer other things since we didn't actually know what cancer was then. Though I agree with you that carcinogens are probably more prevailent today than any other time.
