Overclocking is fine if you know what you are doing. Overclocking does tend to run things a bit hotter than usual, but if you do your research, have good cooling, and keep an eye on the temperature, you should be fine.

My old P4 2.5 with a gig of ram has been sitting here running fine for almost 4 years. Personally I don't want anything that needs to be watched over. Too much like cooking a pot of beans and making sure they don't boil over and ruin my nice new stove!

I have a xeon server i built just for that. Runs 24/7/365. Besides they found a cure for AIDS like 5 years ago, catch is, do you have enough cash to afford it. They'll probs do the same if they cure cancer.

Well im not really confterble buying online in the first place let alone used from someone on a forum

Reasons for that im sure you understand right
Umm like scams, defective items, no returns, damage from shipping and whatever other problems from just buying online right

I normally shop offline unless its really worth the hassle to go online and when i do shop online i always buy from very well known sites. But anyways i put my payment in just before the holidays and it takes 3 banking days to clear so i think ive still got 1 or 2 days to think about it. Really i would prefer to buy from a site that i know because theres no chance of being ripped off at all and thay can be returned if thay are defective

I will think about it tho but dont get your hopes up lol

Shopping online is super addicting. I catch myself on Tigerdirect and NCIX all the time with like over 100 bucks of stuff in the cart, then ask myself "do I really need this? Probably not."

I have 2 orders on their way.

True it can be addicting because you can do it right from your chair

I window shop on ebay alot because theres always unique stuff to find there but i rarly buy because im ether A: short on cash or B: i dont want to wait for it or C: both

I do a lot of window shopping on ebay and may buy something if the seller looks ok. I like the "watch box" feature that's available for members.

You have to really pay attention when buying...some sellers will eat you up on shipping and handling which can be more than the item!

Tiger Direct is one of the best places to buy pc stuff if you like to do your own upgrades.
