I've been slacking today. Wanted to do the cart feature on my business site, started but never finished. And it's the only thing I did all day.

I just watched the weirdest movie. It was about a couple getting their minds erased and everything just got all weird and stuff. I forget the name of it though.

It's fun, but buggy. Can't say anymore than that due to the NDA.

I finally got it done today, in under an hour. Well there's one little thing to do but waiting for response to a thread at a forum. I'm trying to avoid having to run the same query twice since it's not efficient to do that.

You know sinfest isn't always the funniest comic, but today's seemed to have a nice message to it [
linky] though I'm sure by saying that I'll be labeled ignorant, uninformed, or anti-something or another

It took me like 2 hours to do my html assignment, well 4 of them.
But then again, I did spiff it up allot with css and graphics.
The teacher might complain though that I got ahead. In programming he won't even let us use conditional statements because we learn that next year.
like common, conditional statements are the base of programming we should of learned that the first week. That and functions.
And I have a file called weapons.htm. Hopefully that will make it through the internet safetly.

How is your HTML class? Is your teacher following standards?
In what language are you programming?
Programming without conditional statements isn’t really fun.
Oh, and programming on a calculator isn’t fun either! I made my first simple program on one of those recently, and I hated it! BASIC is…basic, but it’s so tedious to write on a calculator. Thankfully, most new ones hook to PCs now.
EDIT: Hello, Sintekk!

As for html we're not really following standards but I try to do what I can to do so. The teacher does not really like it when I use CSS, and most of the things were learning are the evil things, like image maps and frames etc... so far no blink and markee but I think that's next.
For programming we're doing visual basic. To be honest I dont like it compared to other languages I've used such as C++ and php. The syntax is not organized well, though it's much easier to do GUIs since you don't really have to code that part. So it has it's uses. What I don't like is that it allows you to compile/run invalid code. So if you do a typo or something it will still work, but when it gets to that part it crashes. C++ would error out at compile time and tell you if there's a syntax error.
I can't wait till next year though, we're doing C++. I know basic C++ but I want to learn more.
