Red (coughing, trying to fan away smoke): Uhhh, I guess I used a little too much? No I mean uhhh... it's burning off the host solution. Yeah. See the stuff is so strong it, uh, comes mixed with another solution that burns off after you apply it.

Red's Mom: Oh, I see. So is that why your eyes are so red too? And why we're out of peanuts, yet again?

mom: And you left it on the counter without cleaning it, not only that but those peanuts are no good, there's this green stuff stuck to the blade.

mom: ok, so how long does this smoke last? it's getting sucked into the furnace, look the cat's gone crazy again.

me: Cool so it's working! I mean..... crap. Ok I'll switch to arctic silver. *tries to contain all the smoke in a container for later use*

ZoneAlarm is free and pretty simple to use. Note there's a paid version too, but the free version will cover most of what you need.

No Problem. I use zonealarm myself, even though I have a hardware firewall too.

I tried the Pro version for a while, but most of the features were kind of redundant since I use firefox. The only good thing about it is that it allows you to block specific IP ranges - good if you're worried about the RIAA being on your tail. But you can get peer guardian to do the same thing for free.

Nah, I was just talkin. I wouldn't worry about getting peer guardian unless you're really paranoid about the RIAAMPAABSAetc. If you're using Kazaa lite, you should be fine.
