I finally got the results for my web design competition. Did not do that good, 12 out of 18. Well I guess it's better then last, and it was my first time doing a W3C compliant web site, and my first time doing a website without any access to outside resources. Most of the time when I make a site at one point or the other I'll either google something online, or dig something up in my offline resources. simple things like php functions/parameters, css tags etc...
http://www.skillsontario.com/competitions/...design2004.html
but I have to remember everyone that made it there got first place in the first competition, so they were pretty much all around my level. It's too bad we can't see the sites though, it would be great to see everyone's work. in the level 1 competition we had access, and I knew I got near 1st before I got the results, and I got 2nd out of 24 or something, so at least I did good there.

So it seems that Firefox will be getting a new default theme. Qute was a good theme that blended with Windows nicely. With a few tweaks to make it more minimalist, I wouldn’t mind using it.
This topic is a very interesting read. As a matter of fact, it was on Slashdot today, hench Mozillazine’s short offline period.

I'll have to try that... I'm still using normal mozilla.

Yeah, I think you should try Firefox too. It’s a nice improvement over the Suite IMO. You may want to wait for 0.9 though.

Yeah I'll probably wait till the official 1.0 release to be safe, since I'm happy with mozilla as it is anyway so I'm not really in a hurry to upgrade.

Did you know you can buy zero stocks? Did you know that when you buy a fraction of a stock it takes your money for that fraction but still doesn’t count it? Did you know you could use exponents to specify amounts?
Just playing around with the Cybervillage.

haha never thought of that, but it makese sense, you can put 2+2 if you want and you'll get 4. 0 stocks work too, but it also costs 0 and you will get 0 for it.
I forgot to impliment a decimal check though. So I fixed it.
It's one of the reasons the cybervillage is not open source, still lot of bugs here and there.

Yeah I should revive him once more.
I'm thinking of learning delphi since suposely it's really easy so if it's network base is easy and it has allot of cool functions to parse stuff, I'll write a real bot that browses the forum and all.
