Okay, I suppose.

I gave a presentation Friday on “smart” quotation marks, dashes, the degree sign, and other a few other characters not on the typical keyboard. I only had five minutes, so I didn’t actually explain how to enter them or when they’re safe to use. I just explained the proper ways to use them in the event that they figured that other stuff out.

I bombed it. First, I picked a topic too complex to explain in five minutes and probably just left everyone confused. Second, the computer I used to present my slides (a PDF, not a “PowerPoint”) was running Windows XP, a now completely foreign environment. Third, I get extremely nervous and inarticulate when I speak, making people think I don’t know what I’m talking about.

Ouch. That sucks.


I decided to weigh myself today, and I FINALLY gained some weight! I'm now 121, was 115. Helpdesk *IS* helping, or maybe its going to the gym, yeah... thats it...

If you walk in our office between 11:00am-1:00pm or so, you'll smell fastfood at all times. We order pizza, poutine, mcdonalds, wings, etc... almost every day LOL. Then theres all the tim horton donut runs inbetween.


This week was probably the worse, it kinda went like this:


monday, we kinda did our own thing
tuesday, we got some mcdonalds
wednesday, we had to work through lunch as we were short staff, so our boss bought us pizza
tuesday, we ordered poutine
friday, wendys.


Customers will make me die of a heart attack.

dude i just went to see Tobymac in concert. it was amazzzzing! ahh i love Tobymac. lol the best part was it was a girls outing but someone dropped out so we had to find someone last minute and ended up bringin a guy. i bet he had fun hangin out with a bunch of girls haha

Wonder whre the word "broker" comes from. Maybe it originates from Enron. Stock salesmen sold Enron stocks, everyone went broke, so they are now called Stock Brokers.

So I went to the gym last night at 11'ish-PM. (Hence why i'm posting at 4 in the morning) I bumped some weights up. Able to curl 37.5 per arm and I did 4 reps of 135 for bench press. I'm happy about that.

Wow was so hot here today. Snow was melting, it must of been like +5. Was outside in tshirt and shorts and it did not feel cold at all, though the 10 foot snow pile does block most of the wind.
