I was disappointed that Time Warner Cable resolved their dispute with FOX and was airing that sunday (and now on until at least 2013). It was much better in my opinion when they had Turner Classic Movies on that channel. They have the 31 days of Oscar films playing and the excellent Sunday silent films.

I was forced to watch a supebowl once back in the late nineties (97? I think) when I was stuck on a firewatch on the Aircraft Carrier. All I remember is that Greenbay beat some team ? to ? and that the Beach Boys played at halftime - Carl Wilson died just a month later of cancer I believe.

I never really hated school till the last couple months of college. Everything just clicked in, and knowing that I was graduating in a few months, and being ridiculously overloaded, I realized how my entire life had been totally wasted by school. It never did anything for me. Whats the point of working months on a huge project that serves no purpose, when you could be in an office working on a project, that actually does serve a purpose, and get PAID to do it?

But today's world is all about papers, qualifications, and political stuff like that.

Thing is, people are born with a certain passion or at least find a passion over time. Give them their time instead of being stuck going to school, and theyll be good at what they know. But thats not how the world sees it and does not allow that to happen.

Everything I know about computers, I pretty much learned on my own. I might of learned 10% of it at school, but without school I would of ended up learning it on my own anyway.

I'd normally be at work on a Friday night, but have this week off. Also, I'd normally be doing something else well into the evening, but had a pretty depressing day and just don't feel like doing much more than simple R&R.
