Clueless is at Bible camp this week, only this year she isn't a camper. She is part of the kitchen staff, so she gets to help make the meals and wash all the dishes afterwards. Two of my othet kids are campers this week, so I only have the 11-year-old home with me and my wife this week.

Must be nice to have a break.

I used to go to summer Bible camp once a year back in the day. I was not part of the kitchen staff though. Too many people would die of food poisoning. I managed to make kraft dinner turn green the other day. I have no clue how.

Cold War II - The return of the giant snow man.


Wow, that actually sounds like it could make a nice trilology. In every movie this giant snow man dies at the end, but somehow comes back. Then in the 6th one global warming hits and the giant snow man is dead for good, or at least, everyone thinks...

I could use a cold war. The temps at camp are supposed to get into the 90's next week. (Those temps are NOT Celsius.)

Woah thats 32C, crazyness. We usually get a week of that then thats our summer. But getting AC was well worth it, even if we only use it for about a week per year, and occasional days here and there.

I remember back in summer camp, it was always in august which is when it starts getting cold. Was brutal getting up at 7:00am in a cabin thats sitting at 15C inside. I remember walking out at night to go pee and it was super foggy, all I could see is occasional tree branches, like on those evil dead type movies. Its also comforting when they tell us to watch out for bears.

guess whos back. =[ it hurts to walk. i stayed for the senior high weekend at camp and they had us up till 2:30 in the morning playing psychotic games. it was awesome, but im like dead right now. they had us get in our swimsuits at midnight and take canoes out on the lake and see how many people from our team we could fit on the boat before it sank. then today we played volleyball and soccer with a six foot ball. lol the camp nurse cringed everytime she saw the ball go in the air. so many people got hurt playing with that thing.

Borat wasn't really all that funny. It was exploitation and the only things "funny" about the film was the way with which he offended or tried to offend people. *sigh* That character is like the newer Ace Ventura - craploads of people trying imitate him and just sounding pathetic when they do.
