today it got worse. my little brother and i got in a fight. i didn't do anything but, he punishes me and lets him be happy. and then he says " i'm not punishing you, i'm just separating you" , he let my brother go in the basement(the goods place with all the cool stuff(this happens a lot because my little brother is his favorite. ask erolyn, she'll tell you). and he made me go on the computer. i said no and got mad because he got what he wanted and i got nothing!. he says" did you hear me?" i said," yes i heard you."so he gets mad at me, and grabbs me by the throat with both hands and screams" DO YOU HEAR ME NOW!!!!!!!" i lightly say, "yes, and jump from his hands and run down here.

the other day my friend offered me a ciggarette. i said no, and told her i'll use it when i'm really pissed off at my parents. to piss them off. i was kidding at the moment. but now i'm not. anything that will piss that little bastard off, i'll do it. if it means suicide, thats fine. as long as i make sure that when they find my body, he knows it was his fault. i dont care what happens to me, as long as it hurts him.

You have people here online who care what happens to you. If your life right now really stinks, then think of all the things you can do when you have grown up and moved out. Give yourself a chance to get older. I know that doesn't help much when the miserable things are happening, but time is your friend.

Woah I think you should calm down there little one. You're getting stressed over very silly things. Not to scare you but wait till you're my age, and older, that's when there's real things you actually have to worry about, such as money,college/university, money, job, money etc.

Realize that if you build a bomb, that you will officially be a terrosist. You're in the US right? Heck you just need to be part of an anti terrorist group to be considered a terrorist, now think of the consequences if you do build a bomb and that it actually works. Building a bomb is a very tedious process because of all the illegal incredients that you need, such as uranium. And if it's not handled properly you can kill yourself before the bomb is even half done.

I think somebody here has a tendancy for the melodramatic. I won't say who, but... I don't think they like their brother very much right now.

Red's right GG. Among other things you gain as you get older, is perspective. Seriously, make a practice of when you get this upset, take a couple steps back from the situation you are in, and understand that it's just a situation and that life changes everyday. All you can do is work to make things better, venting can feel good and be good for you at times, but in the end getting this worked up over stuff is really counter-productive because it usually just inhibits your ability to deal with the situation in a healthy way. Calm down, think it out, or talk it out, but stop with the...

crap. It really accomplishes nothing.

GG, calm down. I know AJ drives you nuts, but you drove me nuts when you were that age too. In fact, you still drive me nuts, but I don't want to blow you up or go smoke a cigarette. You've gotta see things in perspective...he's only nine, his purpose in life is to annoy you, the way you annoyed me, and the way every younger sibling annoys their older sibling. In ten years, you'll forget all about it, but he'll still be your brother. And if you blow him up or smoke, in ten years you'll either be in prison or have lung cancer. Know what I mean?

Sure your a bit young for a girl but in your case if that's what will help I think it would be the best thing for you. If you can't get a girl at least make some more friends and hang out and stuff. When I was your age me and my friends would hang out in my basement and play with electricity and knex, legos etc... it was allot of fun. But in your case I'd stay away from the electricity part especially after mentioning a bomb. (my parants tought I was building a bomb once because of my .."experiments")

Well, Joe, I'd be happy to explain that to you.

I am a junior at a private high school. GG is an 8th grader. I play in my high school band, and we play at football games during football season. My family usually comes to these games to support me, the band, and my school. This year, GG has occasionally brought his instrument along, and because HE'S MY BROTHER, and I have FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES, we've let him play with us, which NO OTHER EIGHTH GRADE SIBLING DOES, EVER. In doing so, he's made friends with a freshman girl who plays his instrument, a girl we will call X for her protection. GG has spoken to girl X in person a maximum of 10 times, ever, and wants to ask her out. My mother and I merely explained to him that it would be a MUCH better idea to wait and ask this girl out next year, when he is in the SAME SCHOOL as she is, and I'm sure under the circumstances, any sensible person would agree.

Makes sense to me. And is she at least his age or a bit younger? Since if she's older he should be going after younger girls anyway... Not that it's illegal or anything but it's just kind of odd to date a girl older then you.

she's a freshman and in high school. he's in eighth grade...that's why we want him to wait until next year, until they're both at least in high school.

Yeah makes sense. I find 99.9% of the time girlfriends don't work out before grade 9. Even at that age they don't always work out, though there's a bigger chance at least as you start to mature.

Speaking of those, I need to get myself one soon, I'm 18....
