I am reading "money ball" its about the general manager of the A's Billy bean. If you like sports or business READ this book. It talks about how the A's can field a competitive team with so little money. A great read :)

http://www.danbrown.com/novels/index.html

finished angels & demons, da vinci code, and digital fortress. starting on deception point.

other highly recommended books.

everything here by douglas adams. http://www.douglasadams.com/creations/hhgg.html

of course there's the standard "c++ the programming language" by bjarne stroustrap, "c the programming language" by kernigan and ritchie, any of the "thinking in <insert language>" by bruce eckel (which is available as free downloads), and the not really great, but best of the vb books, "visual basic 6 - how to program" by Harvey M. Deitel, Paul J. Deitel, Tem Nieto, and T.R. Nieto.

therapy by david lodge is painfully funny! I haven't read a book thats made me laugh for such a long time!
At the minute i'm reading short stories by ernest hemingway, i love his simplistic style of writing and his raw perception of imagery of the deep south.

I saw that one on the Big Read and I think I will get it soon. I also bought Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, which by the way was excellant, as a result of it.

I own Hitchhiker's Guide but have never read it. I like The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury and I used to read Jules Verne.
