Fourth of July

Independence Day is sunday, what is everyone gonna do. This is a huge day for me, break out the fireworks do some :drink:

eat some great american food, party go in pool its just a great day. IMO best holiday besides christmas.

SO have fun, lose some fingers, get drunk get arrested whatever but remember to know the true meaning. This is the day we declared independence and that is a reason to celebrate.

I wish fireworks were legal here, it would be awesome to make some go off in the yard and stuff on Canada day. But those are also very expensive... they were not even going to have a display this year, then with enough people donating they had enough money to do so.

The trick is to make sure you put them in the ground properly THEN light them.

I learned that the hard way at my camp. We had some, but they were just the small kind, not the actual electric blast cap type used in the big shows, but I had one fall when I lit it and it went flying in the bush. could of started a forest fire but I went fast enough to take it away from blowing up in the trees.

We don't have those crazy fireworks that you need to light from a boat, we just got stuff that can be done in the street. Although we did use blockbusters once, those things are dangerous. The thing with fireworks is once you light them people always ask you to do it again, no one else has the balls to. So after july 4 i got burn marks all over my hands for the entertainment of my family and some strangers.

Yeah you need to stand clear of them expecially when doing lots. We had quite a few at our camp but we all wanted to light them so we took turns. We also had these crazy firecrackers that spin on the ground and stuff. It was not really a special occasion, someone had just went to the states and got some for fun.

I've accumulated a small amount of fireworks between the stuff my sister left here and some bottle rockets some random guy gave me when I worked at lowes. Don't know if I'll actually set them off though. You guys have a good 4th

independence day is my favorite holiday for that very reason. regardless of our faults, which i very often like to point out, we are still the greatest country in the world.
