non-corporeal spectre, at least I wouldn't be dominated by my will to eat flesh or do my master's bidding

Never. At work and at home i have an optical mouse that has no need for a mouse.

Yep. The most prominent one I can think of is CTL+K to access the quick-google-search in Firefox.
