The loot here is way better then that of demise, if you're thinking of when it initially got bumped, that was a bug. I'm sure theres still tons of that ubber loot floating around though. I would pickup at least 2 15/15 sc fc1 shields per kill lol.

Well, I mean even when that bug was in effect a while back, and I had 1524 luck at the time...

I was on a loot rampage when that bug kicked in.

When testing stuff I usually take a look at the loot too. Peerless tend to drop lot of maxed out or close to max out items. Found a couple jewels with like 30 total resists on travesty a while ago while testing stuff. (will be going in soon)

I've looted some decent items recently. Finding really good items on corpses has always been a challenge itself. If you could get really uber loot every single time you killed something, what would be the point of killing the next monster? If you're not finding good loot, here's a few things to consider:

-Maybe you aren't killing to right stuff. If you're going around killing things like ronin or kappas or chaos demons and dopplegangers, chances are the loot is going to royally blow. Champions give high amounts of loot but keep in mind you need a lot of people to complete some of them. If you're alone, you can go around and fight paragons, or even better: named creatures. Some of the named creatures are easy to kill (Such as swoop, flurry, mistal, etc) and drop a ton of loot. Named creatures are in difficult areas but bring a small group of people and you can get nice loot as well as minor artifacts. If you look around for supreme creatures and manage to kill one, they drop tons of loot. Not all supremes are very difficult. I took on a supreme scorpion the other day and it dropped a nice stash of loot including a talisman. It wasn't very difficult either. Peerless bosses have giant loot packs as well and always drop nice things that can't be found anywhere else.

-Maybe your luck is low. If you're getting loot packs which have a ton of items but they suck, you may need to increase your luck. 125 luck points will help, but won't get you very far. You can pop on some luck armor to increase your chances or you can honor your target with bushido (Every step you go, you get a luck increase).

-Maybe you're having an unlucky day. As much as we think the system is broke, it all comes down to the lovely random number generator. Sometimes it decides to screw us over and sometimes it throws us a bone. For those people who have seen players in gauntlet get an HOM and orny in 1 round know what I'm talking about. Sometimes you hit the wheel on the roulette and get tiger teeth earrings from sacrificing a wooden steed, other times you sacrifice a hat of the magi and get a 568 damage lightning bolt.

Bartok...do you not know who this is?

Dark Fathers are supposed to have the highest lootpack and with two tamers that killed it, one with 1200+ luck and the other with 1300+ luck, the loot still isn't worth looking at. I can't even find anything to boost my luck suits. :-/

I've soloed DFs with maybe 200ish luck and picked up half decent stuff. its hit and miss, luck determines the chance of getting good loot, not the intensity, so you can still get low end stuff.

Hmmm actually I should check out those loot packs. With the increased AI I think it may merit a boost.

I enhanced a repeating crossbow I got during the 1st uber loot day and ended up with 50% HML, 50% HSL, 66% HLL, and 2 HPR. Fantastic yamandon killer.

Anyways, I always looted any less than adequate item I thought I could use after enhancement. And some of those I used all the time.

I still wouldn't mind being able to enhance chairs though. It could be a trap, 50% of the time someone sat in it, they would get zapped with lightning. Beware the chair!

Gag chair. Somebody goes to sit on it and gets ko'd. Great for april fool's jokes or guild parties.
