I'm sure it does. Y'know, I don't think it's right to dump someone that that person spent almost two years with because that person read a book, and changed their believes in less than a nano-second about that person. It all sounds wrong to me, but obviously that person didn't trust the other person enough to even look back at him. So, oh well. That's the way the cookie crumbles.

Look man, whatever happened happened, i've realised it's pointless trying to go back in past to how things used to be. And if anything at least you've learnt something from the experience. Nothing is wasted, you'll have learnt to better shield yourself against lifes unpredictability.
