Finally decided to make a mule character. The arms lore bonus doesnt seem to be in effect(+1 di for every 20 arms lore on crafted weapon(max is 40 instead of 35), some extra resist on armor(forgot exactly but i think it's 6 resist pts distributed randomly)). Does anyone know if this will be implemented or should I just fit another skill on the mule?

It's implemented where you gain more runic stats, and higher resists.

If you give someone a program, you will frustrate them for a day; if you teach them how to program, you will frustrate them for a lifetime.

It applied only to blacksmithy here. Leather armor already has an increased resist boost compared to metal.

OSI completely and totally screwed up the whole crafting resource system (Likely to appeal to mage complaints about low resists on leather armor and the fact that everything else is non mediable). Metal and scales should give the best resists when really, leather is both easier to make and get resources for. This is something we've been looking to fix for a while now but the crafting system is very complex and it ties into a lot of different scripts (Including loot packs I believe).

Yeah my original idea was to actually nerf the resists on leather, but that means I'd have to change every single leather based artifact as the resists would then be off. When making armor artifacts, or craft, you don't specify the resists but the resist bonus. So instead I decided to keep leather as itis, but bump metal armor. Wood armor has its own benifits as well so it's staying as it is. The resists are already have decent but not as good as metal (and should not be). Though the resources are not exactly easy to get. So I don't see people using wood armor much, for other then because it can make you look like a power ranger.
