one would think after all that delay that 3d realms basically when out of business without any announcement.

3drealms has been working on other projects. In recent years they really haven't made many of there own games, instead working with other developers in a producerpublisher role, while helping to fine tune a number of games. Prey and the Max Payne series come to mind, but I'm not sure what else they worked on.

Still, the reason Duke Nukem Forever hasn't been canceled outright has a lot to do with the fact that 3drealms is privately owned, so they can do whatever they want. I'm hoping that with the recent trailer and the tidbits of news that have been coming out that DNF is actually nearing completion.

[btw I didn't actually look at the link, as it's blocked here at work, but I can guess it's making fun of DNF's vaporware status.]

Yeah it shows all the stuff thats happened in the world since it was suppose to be released. It's amusing to read actually.

I sorta heard of the story before, but not more then that, did not realize it was to THAT extent. Figured it just got pushed like a couple years then got released, like Vista did.

I wonder if its really going to be made now?

If so i would assume that the entire game including the story would have to be redone just to update it to this century but that would make it a new game
Wouldnt that also mean a new name?

But wait?!?!?! ... That would mean the game falls back into its loop of not being made?

Infinity cycle of forever??
