small free open source app for file searching

This is a sweet app that is super fast and will find programs files for instantly opening them:

http://www.launchy.net/

You index whatever folders you want and add the file extensions to search for. So for an MP3 folder you specify .mp3 .wav .mid etc for document you'd put .doc .wpd and so on. Even works on network drives and is fairly quick.

works great with small database size but with mine which was about 19k files, it really slowed down my PC. I have not tried setting the database on a network drive though, that might speed things up. My hard drive was just roaring non stop while this app was running.
