worse one i found now.
and they just upgraded it?
the dang thing takes three minutes to download a page of mine with images on
and it never gets all the images. i just tried it and each time i had to refresh and wait 3 minutes for it to say done. then i had to refresh again for another 3 minutes.
i gave up after 4 times of trying it never did download all the images?
the IE 7 will download that same page with all the imagaes in less then a minute
or minute and a half.
what's wrong with maxthon.?
i'll stay with ie 7 for awhile longer it looks like.?
beside this is the only forum that will work right with IE.
i can zoom in on this forum and all the links also zoom in to stay in place.
the other forums don't even do that.

those others dont do what i want to do with ie.
the maxthon use to be called "MY IE 2" it is just a gui style front that works with ie's engines and has more features for security then ie?
but i have them turned on and i get pop ups with maxthon?
i don't get them with ie7 ?
cause i use a thrid party popup killer that works with out
being connected to the broswer,
but it dont work with maxthon.
so i think i will stay with ie.

I modded my firefox, I can't remember what I did, but whatever it was, I don't get a single popup now. It's so strict even popups that you have to click for get blocked. Lot of ads now try to make the browser think you clicked it, so I had to do this,

It was in about:config. I wish I would of documented it Do a google search for blocking popups and about:config, might find it. It also blocks links that open in a new window so sometimes you need to middle click so it opens in a new tab. It's very restrictive but I like it that way.
