while an upgrade to Home Premium will cost $199 ($179.51 U.S.), according to the blog.



WTF???

Does this mean a new PC with Vista installed will double??

Hell--if I had $599 I'd buy a differant vehicle!

Not only will we need to buy a $3,000 computer to get performance comparable with an XP system, but we'll have to dish out another grand for the OS? I see linux being a bright future, as more and more apps become supported as the demand will be there.

We just have to hope the first person crazy enough to pay that price puts up a torrent right away. Not that I'd upgrade...
