hey do you guys have any idea if openoffice can open ms works docs? If it can't do you know a program other then MS works?

ms works
OpenOffice.org doesn’t work with Works files. You could try the viewer Richardj linked to if you run Windows, but remember that you can’t edit documents with it. If someone sent you the file, maybe you can have the sender convert it.
