Windows XP SP3 Slips to 2007
Microsoft has quietly moved the delivery date of the next service pack for Windows XP to the second half of next year.
Initially, Service Pack 3 (SP3) for Windows XP had been due out prior to the release of Windows Vista in the latter part of 2006. However, postings on Microsoft’s Web site now put that date approximately a year after that.
Its predecessor, SP2, was released in the summer of 2004, roughly three years after XP’s original release in October 2001. So if SP3 doesn’t arrive until summer or fall of 2007, that will be about three years as well.

Haha that's great. I can't really judge, SBBS was suppost to be released almost a year ago, and i still did not get my butt together to actually work on it and finish it. I'm a true procrastinator. I think that's in squirrel nature, hence why lot of them wait till the last 2 weeks to gather food for winter.

Be more like a chipmunk. Stock your valuables in several different locations, forget 2 of them. Stock as much as you can. Even though 1 huge pile would suffice, stock more in case of emergencies. Always nice to have several backups. Also, laugh at the pesky squirrels next spring when you emerge from your den. They're all anorexic and you're sporting a nice fresh coat with a bit of a belly. Let's see who outruns the hawk now!

Hehe, off site backups rule. The worse must be being a black squirrel in winter. White ones are so cool though, and would be hard to spot.

White ones are rare. But yea, that one pic that thing was adorable. He must have at least 6 lady squirrels. To keep on topic, it's no surprise that sp3 is being pushed back. I personally think it's a good thing. They're rethinking their service pack and are making the effort to make sure that it works properly (Or so I hope).

Yeah so it should hopefully not turn into a SP2 disaster.
I'm running smoothly on SP4 right now... win2k.
