Let it snow!

First official snowfall, we had a couple others but it was gone within that same day so it does not count. A little late this year, but it was much later last year.

Notice the house in the front already has Christmas decorations, thats because they've been there since last Christmas.

I missed that this year (Sudbury = No Snow Yet, still have leaves on my trees)

I'll be able to experience that first hand lol when I return in two weeks to your end of the woods Red.

Haha, well right now we have almost a foot in some places, well maybe not quite a foot, but it's must deeper then the first snowfall usually is. I think this one is staying, even though we always say that but the first one never stays.

Wow can't believe snow already seems like still to early for that. Hope not to see any of that here anytime soon lol. I just would like to say hey to everyone this is my first comment since joining.

no i love snow.. just have a lot of priority's at work right now and can't drive in it lol. i work as a department manager over the layaway department at walmart so this time of year is my craziest. but i personally can't wait to see it when i am off work lol.

Yeah would not want to be working for wal-mart, or any retail store. I don't start my shoping till december 20th, usually.

In a couple of weeks I'll probably be putting up the Iceteks Christmas decorations.

Yea its not easy but I make due lol. Feel like i'm gonna scream a lot of the time lol. Wow 20cm already man can't believe its winter already. I got a question I'm learning on here and this is the first site I have joined and I wanted to share a pic with yall, how do i put one on here? Its a cute pic I took of my cat before halloween he looks really strange on it and I wanted to share the pic. I tried looking to make a new post but I dont' understand how to attach the picture.

When you post using the normal reply (not quick) there's an attachment section where you can browse and then select a file from your hard drive. with newbie status you dont' get that much space but as you post you'll get more and be able to post bigger pictures.

on the topic of snow i with it would snow here. I live in northwestern indiana and all we have got this time of year is cold rain and i hate that crap. Plus the last couple years we havn't got much snow and if we do it melts. I wonder why it hasn't been snowing around here the last few years. I think it has something to do with tropical winds from the south.

Eww yeah I hate rain. What I like about our winters, they're very dry. Well this part of the year is yucky but once we stay in the below 10's it's all good. BTW -10 here is a very nice winter day, in january -50 with the windchill is common enough. They usually randomly pick a couple of days in january to cancel the school busses. But I still think it's picked in advanced, since you can have a whole week where it's the exact same weather and they'l cancel it once, then later on it will be half as cold and they'll cancel.

Yeah quite allot of snowmobiles around here, actually. No good when it's slushy and stuff but once it gets to be real snow and all streets are covered you see them around, though they mostly use trails. Actually not even sure how the rules work as for going on roads, I think they're only allowed on certain less busy roads.

trail permit on windsheild is a must if you are going on the trails
must be 16+ with drivers license to use a ski-doo
age 12-15 can get a ski-doo license but cant cross roads or highways lol

other then that you can get away driving down most roads and highways as long as your not sitting at stop lights n stuff

basic rule for roads is how much do you care about your ski's lol if you dont mind messing em up and having a spark show then go right ahead

i cant wait cuz my mom's b/f is gonna get 2 ski-doos out this winter and i get to use one ^^
also going camping with em YAY!!! ... camping in winter is soo much fun

oh and scooby you can post in some other topics around here to get your 25 posts for members status ... we dont bite

well not yet anyways

spam thread is a good place to get a few ^^ and theres also a pet topic around here in the members area so you can put your pic's up there when ya have 25 or tell us about em ^^

but i think you only need 10 posts total for members status .. 25 may be for big files

Wow that looks slick lol. Thanks for the advice on how to get the pic hopefully i can put it up soon. I think its really cute lol. I sound like a 5 year old lol. One of my kitties got out today thanks to my roommate and I was crying til I found her. I know I'm pathetic lol. They are my children lol. I am only 21 so I have no kids yet but I've had them years lol. Crazy how we get attached to cute little furry animals ain't it. We dont' usually get ice of snow that amounts to anything til January then its almost always ice:( Not a good thing for a southernor who can't drive in it (or spell lol)
