Hi,
I need some information regarding how to get the health status of Apache server programatically.

Also, will the server status page always be in english or can it be changed into another languages like german/french?

Hmm not too sure how easy it would be done. But I've never seen apache crash under linux so you can always make a static page that says it's running smooth.
