I have no clue wtf is going on but it's not good. Things are really weird. I had to change the path to /home2 for some reason to make things work, but that broke the home page and a bunch of other stuff.

Ok my missunderstanding, the host switched us servers so the path got changed, and he did not get the chance to make the symlink to make the old path work, so now everything is back to normal, and it's not a compromize or any malicious act which caused this.
