Static Group

I was thinking, not everyone here likes RP. And I think me and Bruno were the only people who have ever RPed on this forum, from my understanding.

Well, I was thinking about trying to make a static group. Basically, a group where you cannot use the skill deed from your bank. No insurance. No ethies. No twinking (getting items from other characters).

You'd start out with just basic skills (advanced character template), and spend what money you have on getting more skills from vendors. There'd be no macroing, and no farming vorpals.

Seriously, try making a new ninja and take on a demon. It's instantly twenty times harder. I think there's some fun we could have with a large group, but just a suggestion.

If you give someone a program, you will frustrate them for a day; if you teach them how to program, you will frustrate them for a lifetime.

You mean actually gain in skills by using them rather than macro them? What a concept. I would do that if we were able to get a few people to do it together so that our newb characters would stand a chance against real stuff starting out.

Exactly. Actually trying to GET skills is a pain. I remember going to Shame for years trying to GM a single skill.
