That's the email addie of another weird robot that spiders pages. a few hunred page views from them today. Maybe it's the FBI under cover.

I just got a hit from them, and did a google search on it, and wound up here.

Very curious as to what it is.

My logs showed this too. 127 reads today (sept 23) . All coming from IP 216.55.190.25 a search engine?

a whois lookup showed this hosting company:

OrgName: Abacus America Inc.
OrgID: ABAC
Address: 5276 Eastgate Mall
City: San Diego
StateProv: CA
PostalCode: 92121
Country: US

The site search engine list lists it as a robot that actually checked for robots.txt before entering the website, which infers it has some manners.

This UserAgent belongs to a spam harvesting spider. The harvester gathers email addresses from web pages. For a full report on the spider you can see:

The spammer who is gathering the messages then appears to use zombie machines around the world to send his messages. To protect any email addresses on your site, you may want to block visitors from IP address: 70.84.20.52, or those with a user agent containing:

booch_1.0.7

Hmmm so it is an evil bot. Something about it made me think I should of stopped it in advance. Thanks for letting me know! I'll block it now!
