Spyware Blaster

Post by Anonymous »

Hi! I'm new here. Anyways, I have a question about Downloading Spyware Blaster
I downloaded it, and it says it's all downloaded, then a box pops up saying it's configuring RecordNow, or something like that, then a box pops up with this on it

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package "MyCD.msi" in the box below

Then it gives me a place where I can browse the files on my computer, and select one. What do I do? I'm not sure what Record now has to do with it.. and why it's not "available" on my computer. Anyways..any help or hints would be appreciated! Thanks!

Never tried that program so I'm not sure if it's good or not. I use spybot and ad-aware and they both remove mostly everything, so maybe try one of those or both.

Welcome to the forum.

Spyware Blaster is to keep spyware from loading in the first place. An excellent program. I'm using version 3.1 which is free. ;)

Nick's Girl, I'm not sure what the problem is with your download though. Which OS are you running?

Ok, I got it downloaded, lol
I have spybot as well. My boyfriend knows what he's doing with computers, lol, and suggested I download Spybot, to clean the spyware off my computer, and also to download Spyware blaster to prevent anymore from getting there in the first place.

OS?(assuming you mean operating system?) Do you mean like..windows xp or something like that?

I have windows XP, and I'm not sure what the problem was exactly.. but whatever it was.. it went away
