2147483647 IC limit

Post by Red Squirrel »

There is now a limit of 2147483647 $$ for accounts, if you try to put more money then that in an account, it won't let you.

The problem is that a bit further up that number, transactions start messing up, so I set that limit to avoid it, as I ran some tests and came up with that number being the best safeguard.

So if you are aproaching that, it's not a bad idea to split it in seperate accounts. Later on I might add a "financial adviser" service that will do certain operations such as making various accounts with specified ammounts, and such. But for now we can stick to doing it manually in the account section.

With the steal feature and rob bank I'm sure we're all going to start having less ICs and when it gets to a reasonable ammount that everyone has, prices for stuff will be lowered. Right now we have an inflation problem. :roflmao2:

more of a mysql limitation, but I think it's both... what happens is that calculations mess up with bigger numbers.
