Yes I'm aware of the lag issue. At around 10 people my net just bombs out, I can hardly browse the internet, so I can only imagine how laggy game play is. I'm more and more considering a dedicated server and it seems my main site is brining in a bit more cash then I figured so this is coming closer to reality. I'll start looking at prices and server packages and see. I'm just scared my VMware idea will all blow up in my face but think it will work out, I'm 90% convinced the lag issue is network related, as well as server task related. (the current server powers my whole network so there are periods of high activity during backups, spam filtering, etc)

It's official
That's right, that's the dedicated server order!
Server specs:
ValueXtreme Pentium 2.8
HDD: 80GB Hard Drive
Bandwidth: 750 GB Bandwidth
OS: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Version 4
RAM: 1024 MB RAM
CPU: P4 2.8GHz ValueLine
Uplink Port Speed: 10 Mbps Uplink
Most of this stuff is upgradeable but think for now it will do the job. Only the bandwith part worries me, but that may be upgradeable too.
Give me a few weeks to get everything prepared, this is my first dedicated server ever. I've setted up Linux servers before but this is my first time in which I have 0 physical access, so I can't do anything stupid like change network scripts and assume it will work when I restart the network service. So each change needs to be fully researched first, and tested locally.
I'll also be transitioning all my websites to it, and that's another thing, I will have loads of fun figuring out DNS, that's always a pleasure!
I'm not sure if I need to install and configure apache and such as well. Have no idea in what state the server will be once it's ready, this is a whole new experience for me so before I deem it good for projection I won't be moving the shard over. Also the host name will change, so just stay alert for it. It will probably be login.uovalor.com 1337 or something. That's once I get DNS going.

Still waiting for the server confirmation email with the login info and such and my IP, well my 5 IPs.
So think I'll start on a more complete website for the site, which will include a donation section, and as well as a section on all the customs such as the new arties, demitel bosses, etc.
