What's the longest amount of time that you've left your computer on?
I think it would be about five days for me. There's always something that makes me restart, especially since some programs make me restart when installing them. Plus, I like to restart after maintenance I do on my PC like defragmenting.

Probably months here. I never turn it off unless I'm doing hardware changes, but might reboot the actual OS more often so windows has probably never been on that long. But I think win2k could actulaly make it that long, but not win98. Win98 has a 49.7 day limit, according to microsoft.

What's the record for that Win98 box you used for a server, Red?
24 hours. Man, I was lucky for it to last that long. And now that we get more hits, it would croak. It was hosted on the P3. I have trouble doing a skin on that thing! I even limited the connection to 10mbps for less of an impact and still, the server can't take 1 user too well.
