animal testing

I'm totally against, there are many alternatives and animal test results are usually not accurate.

For example, it takes more nicotine injestion to kill a dog then it does to kill a human. Or some cancer medicine works on rats, but causes tumors in humans, there's a lot more.

Not to mention how cruel it is!

Specific things have been tested in the pass, so they can also use that same data instead of doing it over again.

Sadly, you'd be suprised at how many products get tested on animals. Check on your household products and if it says "imported by procter and gamble" chances are animals went through hell so you can use that product. They even test oven cleaners on animals. It's horrible! It won't do any good either, it's made to clean an oven, not to torture people/animals so there's no use knowing how much fumes it takes to kill a rabbit! :o

I am against it. Although, if a product is very beneficial to humanity and if no animal-friendly type of testing is possible, I would be in support of it. :)

Sure is.

Just like that cat on the home page, I just can't believe someone would do such thing. People don't realize animals have the same type of fealings as us and live like us and should have the same living rights as us.

Animal testing should be banned outright. The same for blood-sports, such as fox hunting and seal culling. If you MUST kill animals, at least do it quickly and humane. There's no need to make them suffer.
