Check out the links to read the full story, Basically GeoVector is working with Microsoft, HP, and Vodafone to produce a "point and shoot" technology which would allow you to do things like point your pda or cell phone at a movie theater and get information about what movie is playing. But their also working to put the technology to use to create "a real life version of Doom, played on the streets rather than on your computer. Users can play head to head in the same town or even in different cities and countries. " (Image in my head, people running around town pointing pda's at each other screaming "bang! your dead!")

Point And Shoot Takes On New Meaning
Haha that is funny!
I can just picture that too, people running around streets causing accidents and pointing their PDA's to people.
Or worse, people in cars playing as well!

Point And Shoot Takes On New Meaning
That's odd... That seems like something that would take a lot of time and money.
P.S. I have my PDA, so everyone better run..... (I wish I had a PDA... )

I think I would be leery about running around pointing anything at anyone these days!
