I'm thinking it would be cool to have a small chat room, most likely where the stats are (I'd add another "rackmount" table under it). It would probably be a simple shoutbox type of chat. I'd probably hard code a few smilies and make it save X messages and there would be a text box with a post button.

Would you guys use this allot? I'd also put it somewhere on the home page, and other places where people can use it. It would be totally annonymous so even guests can chat.

I'd put it so it shows up almost everywhere on the forum but it would probably use too much bandwidth each time a page is loaded, so I'll probably just put it on the forum home.

So let me know what you all think and if you have suggestions, say them!

Oh, and this won't be java of flash or anything, just plain php and html.
