Everyone would have a "bank account" where you keep your money. I would probably call it ITbucks or something, that would be cool. To make money, stuff like posting would give you some, and maybe we can have a lottery and stuff. Sometimes I'd put up contests to win, we could even "gamble" and have games or something.
With this currency, you'd be able to "buy" stuff like changing someone's user title, and other things as I would think of them.
I would also put an option to rob people.
I think this would be fun to have and also a good experience to challenge my php programming skills. I don't know much about sql so it would give me the oportunity to learn more. To avoid changing the IPB sql structure, I would probably make another database for money.
Now there's two options, there's a huge mod being done for this, so we could wait, or I can start fidleing around to try to make it work. I would most likely copy this whole forum and the database to my local server to do the programming, and I could edit the php in real time (netbios) and it would not affect this board. When it's how I want it, I'd copy the php files over.
If we wait for the mod being done, it will most likely be more complete with options I will never think of.
What do you all think of this feature? Would you like it? I think it would be cool.
