I wanted to practise doing holes and such, this is not really an official mod and I won't be putting up an article about it either.
The mod is adding a CPU fan on top of my 486 desktop as an intake from the top. This box is a crash test dummy, pretty much!
And on with the pics...

Actually, this was not too bad for my first time using a dremel at it's highest speed. I only cut two toes off this time. Not like when I made my fan. j/k
Actually, I did cut myself when I made that fan of mine, but it was not too serious.

Yeah, good for practise. My next mod will be to add a 80mm fan to exaust on top of my good PC. I might practise some more though. I don't want to make my good case look bad. I'll want to put the fan inside (I'll be able to screw it, not glue it) and also put a grill. I need to buy these things though. I'm broke. not expensive, but with shipping and all it gets expensive. I might wait till I'm hooked up with a wholesale provider though, I'll probably get some info tomorow or something. Some require a credit card though, but some will do COD, they send a bill with the item and I just send it back with a money order. Much more convinient. Once I'm 18 I'll get a credit card so I'll be more free for these things.
I also want to put a 120mm fan on the side panel, for intake. I got more exaust then intake - that is bad for dust!
