Spyware Program

I have never seen it, but I think it looks interesting.

I wouldn't need it though, since Mozilla doesn't have ActiveX support (Thank God! :roflmao2: ). IE does though....
By setting a "kill bit" for spyware ActiveX controls

I didn't read about it. Someone posted a link on another forum.

Wonder if I can use it with Ad-aware.

You probably could. Can't see why it would conflict. But when it comes with windows appz, anything is possible. :roflmao2:

Yes, I've already got something conflicting on here now. Some kind of sound manager came installed, SwatIt comes up with about 6 error codes, access denied. I have to go to task manager and stop SwatIt. Thing is, I thought SwatIt was a manual program. There is a program on here called "Rack Man". Looks like a radio you can put on the desktop. That may be where the conflict is.

Did your computer come with a bunch of junk, Wren?

That is the problem with computers you buy: They usually have software you don't want!

With my computer (HP), I had to get rid of a ton of stuff...

Oh I hate when they do that!

Worse yet: when they don't give you the original software CDs but a "Restore disc". Compaq is worse, they have the "restore disc" on the hard drive. If your hard drive fails, good luck. lol

That was about all that came with it that I have found. They loaded my os from my disk. It may have been something from the Nero software that was loaded, now that I think about it. Afraid to get rid of it, don't know what it's tied to.
