FS my tamer with 59 fire resist for only 90 - ~100 dmg but to my mage with 70 fire resist that FS does like 140dmg? Don't tell me he's reflecting my undead slayer back at me ... ?

thats actually really weird. But was this two different bosses? or the same one? Since it can spawn with different eval int, its not set to a specific value.

It was almincrus' second form. I made sure it was the same mob, not a respawn. Funny enough, my mage has 120 magic resist whereas my tamer has 0. I found it really strange... The only thing I could come up with was that my mage was wearing an undead slayer spellbook, and he was actually using that to double damage ME. My first guess was that he had some kind of player mage slayer, but my tamer has 115 magery.

your problem was probably blood oath with the slayer so hes gonna reflect double damage back at ya but still hes too powerfull and is no longer fun to kill demitel bosses

Nope, I was not casting on him. I made sure it was a flamestrike that hit me when I was not casting anything. I was experimenting with this for quite a while making sure there was something going on. I can show you if you like RS. All I have to do is run around until I get FSed with my mage, then do the same thing with my tamer...

Yeah thats diffinately weird. I'll have to check if theres anything weird in the code or something. I'm guessing you lured the ancient liches and stuff away as well.

I actually lured him up close to the entrance where there are only the occasional shadow imps or whatever those things are. He's probably still there.

Everything thats easy is fun to kill. If the artifacts werent so powerful, I would not bother. Want a tip for Malkilus? Use greater explosion potions and stay 5 tiles away from it. Rarely teleports and you can still move while causing damage.

Actually any mob can be boxed in using crates and other items I think. Only works on this shard though. Use that strategicly and about any boss is easy.

So yeah, it's definitely my undead slayer book. With it equipped, almincrus' second form will do 100+ explo's on me. If I take it off, they are more like 50+.

Haha, try to run from almincrus and watch as he teleports like 5 times in 5 seconds

It's actually pretty funny to watch sometimes as you think you got away around the corner, then *bam* he's right in your face. You can teleport out from being boxed in...

There are tricks for bosses and different strategies that work. Like brunus suggested, you have to think about ways to kill the bosses. You need to discover what they are weak against. Brunus made these bosses difficult so that people won't easily farm the artifacts and to give people a challenge (like 2 or more people needed to take them down).

One way I could think of for humus is with multi client, one client is a tamer with 5 yoshies or any other pets, other char is a mage with double slayer. Box in humus in crates, have the tamer just set the yoshies outside (within fire breath range) and have the mage fire spells and hope the fire breath hits the yoshies and not you, then have tamer rez them all, repeat. The red yoshies would MAYBE survive that, actually, but don't know about that.

There's probably easier ways. But for that one, just a bunch of people doing damage wont do as his breath insta kills.

I really hate double-clienting... it isn't really soloing something anyway. I didn't double-client, but it took me so long to solo the damn guardian of fire that I don't want to do it again; too boring.
