To the newer players on the shard, I will be giving guided trips to see a real live Baracoon. This isn't an easy trip to take, so you will need some halfway decent equipment and a proper character to take there. Luckily you can build the character in a few hours and get the basic equipment with a few trips to the tokuno champ spawn.

In order to be eligible for the trip, you will need these skills:

GM Necromancy
GM Spirit Speak

Thats the bare minimum, but GM Magery and GM Eval Int help out a lot.

As for equipment, this would be a good start:

Kasa of the Rajin
Rune Beetle Carapace
Gloves of the Sun
Jewels or equipment that give you at least 2/4 casting

and Swords of Prosperity help out a lot too if you have GM Magery.

I should also add that you need 50k or so in the bank for insurance. There is always the chance that we get raided. Most likely if you die it will be due to the spawn. Ratmen will loot you though, and I am not gonna go searching for an uninsured kasa.

I am doing this to hopefully get more people in fel, doing champs. It was kind of intimidating to try to solo coon the first time I tried, so I want to help new players realize that they can do it. On demise I played a stealther and camped coon most of the time I played. I have seen numerous ways of doing a champ. Here on valor I probably do more coons than anyone else, so you will be learning from someone with experience. Whatever scrolls we get will probably go to the new players. If we get something good (i.e. Magery, Eval, Swords, Archery, Mace, Fence), then we will roll for them. I will not kill you at the end of the champ, so don't worry about that.

I thought I would throw that in, and you can ask most of the vet players here. Hopefully they will all say that I wouldn't do something like that. My idea is to get more people into fel. Help them get their feet wet with champing. Hopefully do a few raid free champs, so they can see that it is possible to do here. Get them some scrolls, some gold, some exp, and some AoAs so they can build a decent suit.

heh, yeah. I went to EvilDead's pvp school on demise and she was there. I was on a brand new character and incognito, but I soooo wanted to ebolt her polish ass. Extremist still has his house on demise named "Subotai is gay". I loved killing his horses, since he had to log on a blue guy, buy a horse, then transfer it to his red.

dumples did a few champs with me the other day. the rikktor we did got a little crazy, but we still finished it. I would like to get some more players out there doing champs.

Yeah was pretty cool. Doc is doin a good job showing me and a couple others around the champs and stuff.

Rikktor was crazy. I only died like 10 times.

I managed to solo it a while back, was actually harder then semidar. The champ itself is easy, the spawn gets real nasty. To think, the mob count is 1/2 of what other shards are lol. Thats why when you get to the end it spawns so quick.

Yeah the wraith and with spell thing didnt work very well. I ended up Liche forming at the end and casting as many EV's and animating dead as much as I could while running away and healing. Doc got his archer out and took down the monsters pretty quick. Fun times though.

Yeah for rikktor wraith is best for level 1 and 2, then from there vamp or lich, vamp is nice as you can use a mount in case you find yourself between 20 dragons and 30 drakes all about to fireball at once. You can run to try and die in a more convinient location.

I work at a dental lab and some of the stuff that a few of our dentists send in is scary. One guy's stuff is usually dripping blood when we open his cases. I have never met the guy, but I can just imagine him wearing big coke bottle glasses...

Im always game to help. Im new here but on Demise Me and Esk were able to two people champ even with e. trying to gimp it out on us.

Coon didn't spawn much in T2A, and you had to champ there since e. has ghost cams in all the other spots.

lol I remember the exploit on demise where you could force random spawns to keep respawning same thing. We (EVP) abused that so bad, we ran like 5 coons back to back once. Bet that exploit still exists too.
