Donation item suggestions

I'm thinking more of going dedicated now, as my dsl connection is near it's max which explains the lag. But this will cost about 100-200 bucks per month so donations will be nice, but not required.

So just curious what type of items you guys would be interested in me putting. This can't be items that could unbalance things though. Like a weapon or armor that is only obtainable by donation. I'm leaning more towards deco type items. Perhaps skill deeds as they'll simply speed up leveling up - they would not be random for donation though, they'd probably be like 50 points or something. Maybe random arty deeds. But I'm weary of that since I don't want donators to be at a bigger advantage than others and make people feel they have to donate.

Those would require client side modification which is a pia as I need to distribute patches, and some people would perhaps not like to join if they need to mess with their client. Though I could add ethys in general including non vet ones. I think any mount body id can be used as an ethy. So hiryu, cu sidthe, I think even polar bears can, without client changes. (though I could be wrong on this)

yeah all those are actual mounts, just polar bear I'm not sure, but if OSI has it then chances are it can be used as a mount. I should make the tamable ones mountable too if thats the case.

Actually the current version of the sword is too overpowered and is limited to admin use only. We can't trust the sword of a thousand truths to a noob! :P

That's actually not a bad idea. Some people are too lazy to get resources themselves. And it's something that people are likely to buy over and over again. I would restrict them to normal resources such as ore and board, not to special resources. In fact, the donation area should not sell things that will unbalance things such as high powered weapons. Here's some suggestion I have for the donation store:

- Normal resources
- Ethereal mounts
- Decoration items (OSI had some nice evil home decor stuff)
- Minor weapons/armors (Nothing too powerful)
- Donation only pigment (Special colors only available through donation)
- Pet bonding deeds/name rechange deeds/murderer count removal

yeah I want to be sure to not offer anything that could put others to a disadvantage. I was thinking random arty deed, but that would be a bad idea since someone who is willing to spend irl cash could simply keep buying them to get the arties they want. There's lot of options for decor actually, so I can add a lot of that. I'll add some pre made ones such as the fire pit. I'll have to code the ethys which should not be too hard, think it's actually just a thing of added different IDs to the existing script.
