This thread is to indicate which patch is considered safe to use to play on this shard. This is also the patch at which the server is fully updated to in terms of map/statics. Not being up to date with the server can cause issues such as invisible walls, or not walking at the same level as the ground, and possibly getting stuck. Sometimes you may even be unable to connect to the shard if not running the right patch.
*** MOVED TO FAQ ***
Note: TC1 may potentially require a newer patch. If you have trouble connecting to TC1 create a separate copy of your client and update that one.
As always, backup your entire client files before patching. Also it is a good practice to backup the entire UO folder to a seperate media in case you ever need to reformat and that the patching service becomes unavailable for whatever reason. (ex: if OSI drops support for 2D client)

I keep getting questions about how to patch after reinstalling UO.
The simple answer is DO A BACKUP! That way when you reinstall Your whole PC, just drag and drop the whole UO folder and you don't have to go through patching. This is also good if you play more then one shard, have more then one UO folder and pick it from Razor depending on which patch the shard needs.
If you failed to back up and want to try to patch at the exact patch required it will require lot of trial and error, and patience. Do a patch as usual, but stop it at the exact moment the next patch is downloading. I have never done this myself and don't know how well it works, but in theory it should work.
To avoid this, simply backup your client before and after patching and keep it for a while until you are sure you don't need it.
