Happy Holidays Everyone!

As you can see, we have released a new forum for your enjoyment. This forum may take a while to get used to, Red and I have tested it and I know I'm still getting used to it. But, on the upside, it's faster and seems to be more stable than our YaBB Boards. Just for reference, the same rules apply here as those which existed on our previous forum, as per our agreement with some outside parties and amongst ourselves. Anyway, I would like to take this time to thank Red for his dedication towards all of you, as well as some tolerance towards my occasional slacking and for making sure the transition of member accounts went smoothly. If you have any problems with your account, send an e-mail to reliexec@ntl.sympatico.ca and we'll take care of it.

Yepper! If you have not seen me much at the old pc411 forum it's because I was working on this one. 90% of the time was trying to get the forum mailer to work - never succeeded. I think it's a bug in the script itself.

So because of that there's no report to moderator option, and you can't subscribe to threads, unfortunately. Also, administrators won't be able to mass mail members when a very important event happens, so be aware on the board. I also tried upgrading to a stabler version (I think it just came out after I downloaded this one, with my luck) but got mysql errors (this win98 mysql setup is VERY BAD) so it was a no no. Other then the mail bug, this forum is great. I hope you all enjoy it!

The new forum looks great, I love your colors here! I have no problem getting use to using this board, its what the new Anything forum uses is invision board, it takes a few days to make your way around, then its great!

Thanks for the compliment, katinamarie72.

We worked hard getting this thing up, Red works hard making sure it stays up and I design and maintain other aspects so that he doesn't have to and I "hold the fort" while he's away. But there's also our members to thank for this forum, this is all for you, not us. We don't make a profit from Reliexec or IceTeks, it's an experience for us. For me, it's a chance to challenge what I know and even I have learnt alot from the ground up. Red has certainly had his share of frustrations and I'm sure he's had a few sleepless nights thinking about this forum as I have, but it's here, it works and our member base is ever growing. And in case you're wondering, folks, Red does spend alot of time working on this. It's been a while since we've spoken face to face, since just after the last server, most of our talking is through the forum and instant messengers. But I don't think either of us regrets a minute we've spent working on the site, the forum and our other related projects.

Thanks to you, all our members, we have this forum. And it is through you that it shall continue.
