Update [April 28 07] - monster fixes, Dread Horn + more

* Swing speed for ranged weapons is now capped at 1.5-2.0 this means that the speed can vary from shot per shot if regular speed is below 2.0. At most, you will shoot at 1.5.

* Modified yoshies, squirrels and other custom pets as they were too powerful for 1 slot pets.

* Added Chief Paroxysmus and Dread Horn. I just have to go spawn the required items and it will be possible to do those bosses. Keep in mind the stuff they drop is not useful now, but it will be later on. (ingrediants) There are some nice other misc stuff they drop too.

* Modified slayers so the new ML monsters should have the proper slayers

* Added a few new AoAs:

The Cat Foot
Hit Lower Attack 40
Hit Lower Defend 40
Spell Channeling
Swing Speed increase 10
Lower Req 100


Robe of a fallen gypsy
Defense chance increase 20
Lower reg cost 20
mana regeneration 2
Spell damage increase 5


The Tentacles Talon
Hit chance increase 10;
swing speed increase 15
Bonus str 5;
Spell chanelling

Will have 5 or 10 of one of these skills:
Parry
Tactics
Anatomy
Healing
Magery
Meditation
EvalInt
MagicResist
Chivalry
Focus
Necromancy
SpiritSpeak




*Did some monster fixes (Thanks Bartok)

Sea serpants/Deep sea serpants: Now give proper hides/meat as loot (Deep sea serpant didn't give hides which was odd)

Giant serpant/Ice serpant/Lava serpant: Now drop body parts as loot

Headless ones/horde minions: Now drop body parts and bones

Meer Mage: Has a chance of dropping daemon bone armor like efreets

Oni: Can drop skulls, brains and other body parts

Orc Captain: Skulls added as a posibility to loot boxes

Ratman: Drops a regular weapon in their pack

Plague beast/Plague beast lord: Plague beast lords created. Stats modified for both to keep balance

Skeletal dragons: No longer drop meat or hides as they are made of bones. Instead they drop bones as loot. They will also summon undead when their bones fall on the ground. Their slayers is now undead and dragon, but not reptile

So even if i hit at max speed i will not hit with max speed i hit 1,5-2

if you ask me this is bit stupid, whats the point even going for max speed?

And yeah it looks good on paper but form what ive noticed i hit almost everytime for that 2. and i dont even wanna think about how slow it will be with slowest bows

and no its not my stats i got bow with wep speed of 25 + 75%ssi + 150stam and i still hit every time about 2seconds and things get even more funnier when my stam drops (one combo and its at half way) at that point i hit even slower

So now, only thing this fix has done is that it forces (atleast me) to use bow with mortal, i just cant pull enough dmg to actualy kill someone witouth it.

It does not globally slow down. Those shooting at 2 and up won't be shooting slower. It just effect those who actually manage to hit the cap, which is really hard to do with archery to begin with. In testing, there was little to no difference, even 2 is pretty fast. My archer shoots at 2.75 or so and I still manage to kill people. Archery was not meant to be a super fast skill. If you want speed melee is the best choice.

So you mean that if i manage to get my swing speed to 1,6second it hits with that always. But if i get it to 1,5seconds it hits 1,5-2 ?

No if you hit 1.6 max then it's 1.6-2.0 But if you hit 2.0 it will always hit 2.0, 3.0 will always hit 3.0 etc... it's only below 2.0 where you have a chance for it to hit slower. But the closer to 1.5 you are the more often you'll hit a faster shot since theres a bigger range of numbers to play with.
